ZeoSand acts as a molecular sieve that catches the smallest irritating ammonia ions and reduces chloramines in the water that cause eye irritation and chlorine odor. It also cuts backwashing up to 50% and saves water, energy, labor and chemicals. 50 lbs. of ZeoSand equals 100 lbs. of sand.
